Hello everyone, it has been a few days since I have posted anything, so I thought I would post a technique I am going to do at a friends workshop on Thursday. This technique is called spotlighing and is real easy and you get an elegant looking card. I made this a while back at one of my uplines workshops. Sorry such a short post but I have a lot of running to do today. I will try and post the directions for spotligting yet today. thanks for visiting and Please leave a comment.

This technique is great to spotlight part of your image. It's a fun way to use detailed stamps and only color part of of the image.
- Two paper punches or cutting system that gives you nested shapes
- Outline image stamp
- Coloring mediums (here Aqua painter and waterbased ink)
- Cardstock (here Shimmery White)
- Black Stazon™
Stamp the main image in Black Stazon™ ink.
Stamp the part of the image that will be highlighted again, this time on a smaller piece of cardstock.
Punch out the part of the image that will be highlighted.
(Or use a cutting system to cut it out.)
Color in the punched image.
Adhere image to a slightly bigger, colored cardstock punch out.
This will draw attention to the image.
Line up the layered punch out over the main image and tape down.
Finish your card.
